Since the day I have had sky glass I have had the same issue it freezes at random times screen goes white and there is a very loud static noise that has actually woken my son up on multiple occasions. I originally thought it was my broadband so I switched to sky broadband and the WiFi speed is as it should be but I'm still getting the same issue. The only way to stop it is to turn the tv off at the plug then switch it back on this only resolves the issue for a little while before it happens again. Trying to get through to speak to an actual human is getting on my nerves now. I'm coming to the point I'm considering just retuning the tv because it's a daily occurrence and I'm paying for something that doesn't work properly. Has anyone had this issue ? I have tried resetting it as well which hasn't resolved it ether.

This is a well known random glitch which has been around since Sky Glass launched in 2021. You'll find customers reporting the same issue quite often on this forum.
Sadly, Sky don't seem to have found a way to permanently prevent it from happening.
If a full reboot isn't sorting it then all you can really do is ring Sky & ask for a replacement (if within the 2 year warranty period) or ask to return it (if within 31 days since activation.)

@Mister_Dalek Thank you for replying, after the bot directed me to here to ask for help I did look through and see quite a lot of people with the same issue. That's disappointing they don't have a solution to the problem if it was happening less frequently than every day sometimes more than once I could deal with it. I will call sky in the morning and ask for a replacement and see if they makes any difference I have only had it for 3 months. If I had known about this before I wouldn't have bothered with it.

I had the same issue frequently on 65inch in bedroom, freaked the hell out of me and my cats, one time ended up in A&E with a big deep cat scratch, bedding ruined with blood from it and sky wouldn't even offer any goodwill. I even asked and they said no.
If you ask for a replacement, they don't send you new, you get a second hand 1 which has been returned most likely due to fault.
I found a way to stop it from happening and it's in the settings - picture and sound - sound - digital audio output HDMI eARC set to PCM stereo and it should prevent it happening again.
I have cancelled sky package now and use a firestick. I refuse to pay more than i have to.
