For the past 3 weeks the sky glass keeps going into standby mode 2-3 times per day, or switching to the main menu. It is usually when TV not been altered ie volume or channel not changed for a while like during a movie.
All the auto standby options are switched off. It has been turned off at the plug for several mins and still happening. Any ideas?

Sky state:
"Auto-standby mode
If there’s no movement detected for one hour, an on-screen message will appear for about 5 seconds and then your Sky Glass TV will go into standby mode. You can dismiss this if you want to keep watching by pressing the home button on your remote or using voice control."

Other posts on the forum indicate that this is a mandatory feature, possibly due to EU environmental law that has been adopted into UK domestic law, but not found any definitive answer on this. The above article refers to disabling the motion sensors auto standby, but this implies it will still ask you to pick up the remote, and there isn't a way to disable that.

Thank you @mikealanr.
I had disabled auto standby modes (all toggles are off to see if makes a difference)
it did used to give a warning about going into standby, but more recently it just goes into standby mode by itself with no warning. I just wondered if a glitch with OS.

Also having the same problem.
if I'm watching a film or football why would I be moving using the remote.
the longer I have the system the more of an absolute con I believe it is.
it's got absolutely nothing on sky Q

I'm also having the same issue. Start up and standby setting switched to off except network. TV switches off after 10 - 15 minutes . Switch it back on and it will stay on for longer. Sky even sent me another TV. Same issue. Restarted router, checked power lead and plug. It's definitely an OS glitch which Sky are not owning up to. Don't downgrade to Sky Glass.
