Sky glass message says sorry, because of a technical issue, your currently experiencing a limited service . Please be assured we are working hard to fix the problem. It has shown this for 2 days now and won't let me do anything else.

have you tried unplugging it for 30 seconds to reboot it?

I have tried to reboot it, turning it off and back on with 1 time waiting an hour but still comes back on with same screen and message. This is a brand new tv and message came on as I was following the instructions on screen to set up

It was getting to that bit, I think, when the message came up now it won't let me do anything even get back to the start point, it just seems frozen and unsure what to do about it.
was on hold for an hour yesterday with sky but can't do that every day

Yes on more than 1 occasion it has been for over an hour still comes back on with the same message

Keep an eye out for an invite or blue chat bubble.
When the blue bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.
Be reassured the email & message is from Sky and your details are safe and secure.
If you are using Safari please make sure that Hide IP Address is not checked in order to see the blue bubble. If you are having trouble finding this to check the settings, use another browser such as Firefox, Chrome etc.
I would also recommend that if not already on, that you turn email/private message notifications on to avoid missing any alerts
