Well I waived bye bye to the sky glass today. However for one last problem the collection definitely didn't run as written.
recieved the text late last night with the two hour window. Called them this morning as I was out for 30 mins of it but was told that would be fine as they were already running late. He had great pleasure in telling me the procedure of them bringing secure packing, dismantling it and carefully returning it to sky.
could not have been further from reality.. Couriers turned up with a sticker and asked if the box was ready. Showed them that my confirmation message shows disassemble and packing. They said they didn't have any packaging and it didn't list disassembly on their list.
thankfully I had the original boxes. They found a small Allen key and removed the 4 bolts and then started pulling at the screen to separate the stand and didn't know why it wouldn't move. I had to explain that the screen sits on four tabs and they need to tilt and lift. I then had to help the. Get it into the box. They failed to add all of the protection and couldn't close the box correctly so taped it up as is. Offered them the box for the stand but they declined and put the assembled stand, power lead and remote control loose on the back of the truck with the badly packed screen.
thankfully took plenty of photos of the before during and after and reported to sky. However just had a text, my shiny new OLED lg order is due tomorrow with Panther 🤔😳
