Sky glass apps not playing

In the last two weeks I have been unable to play anything on IPlayer, ITVX and Amazon Prime.

Netflix and normal tv work fine so the internet is working.

I have turned the TV off and on at the wall reset my internet connection and completely reset the tv, but I still get the following error messages:

BBC IPlayer : Try again shortly or a different programme. Error code: 02066

Amazon Prime: Your device is connected to the internet using a VPN or Proxy Service. Please disable it and try again.

I haven't changed anything in the past months, it just seems to have stopped working. Anyone know how to fix this?

Quick couple of questions

1. who is your isp?

2. Have you tried rebooting your router

3. do you use a vpn or vpn router ?

sounds to me like your device thinks it's in another country .......

This sounds again like an issue with a failed/corrupt firmware/cache issue, IMHO.

I used to have similar issues on one of my Pucks in the early days of Glass. I've not seen it for a while, although I just did have an issue with Q15.x and one of my Pucks earlier this week, however other reports of apps not working have increased since the rollout/rollback/re-rollout of Q14.x.

Re: Sky glass apps not playing

I have had exactly same problem tonight. I can access normal tv on my Sony tv via puck, but says there is a connectivity issue with HDMI when trying to view Amazon prime, Disney etc.

weird thing is when I put hdmi cable in sound bar (arc) input it works, but none of other ones. Wasted whole evening trying to get it working.
