Got dark patch on the screen

Not a lot of information to go off. Is this a new install? Was it working previously without? Is the TV under warranty etc?

 

In the first instance the recommendation would be to turn the TV off at the mains and unplug it for 10 minutes and try again. This should reset any such glitch caused by software. If it's still there, try a further unplug overnight.

 

If this doesn't fix the issue, it is likely related to hardware failure relating to the FALD back panel. You would need to speak to Sky and arrange a replacement under warranty (we are fellow subscribers here on the forum).

Hi thanks for your reply sky TV is about 2 years old i have unplugged TV and reset settings back to factory settings still no joy just dark patch bottom of TV only can see it when there is white or green back ground that's when it stands out more.
