Hi, my sky glass screen has broken on the left side inside the TV, the actual screen is fine it's the internals. This has spread across the screen rendering it useless as you can't see anything but lines and blurs onscreen. I have no idea what steps to take from here. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
How did it break? If you broked it accidentally then you'll need to claim the cost of a replacement TV on your home contents insurance (if you have accidental damage cover.)
If the breakage is unexplainable and you think it was as a result of an internal component failure in the Glass TV itself then you'll need to phone Sky and ask about replacement. If you are within the 2 year warranty period you may be able to get a refurbished unit as a replacement, but if you are outside the 2 years warranty period then there's nothing Sky can do to help. Their authorised service partner will not repair or replace screen damage.
In any case, if you are paying for the TV on finance you will need to continue to pay for it, even though it is broken, as you retain ownership of it from the moment you sign the finance agreement and start paying for it.

As @Mister_Dalek indicates, you may well find it's very difficult to convince Sky that's a manufacturing defect (which would be covered by the warranty) rather than accidental damage (which absolutely isn't)
