All I can suggest is you ring Sky and ask them to listen back to the recording of the phone conversation you had with the adviser to find out exactly what was agreed upon.

If you were clear that your daughter lives with you at the same address and you were told she could start a streaming subscription whilst you retain your Sky Q subscription at that same address then that is clearly incorrect.

Mixing Sky Q with Sky Glass/Stream is just not possible at the same address. Sky's account and billing systems simply do not allow it.

" sorry ,CCA is the consumer credit agreementfor the sky glass tv and sky live camera .in order to move these to your daughters account you would have to return the equipment you have there at the moment and then the CCa,s would be cancelled ,and your daughter would have to order her own ones for her account and go through the credit check process "

That would be correct if she were at her own address and getting a Glass television using the Sky finance option: it's then nothing to do with your Glass set at all.

Alternatively, someone can get a second-hand Glass set without any CCA process (but the original owner needs to either keep making the loan repayments or pay it off, otherwise they are in default).

All you can do is ring Sky and explain the situation to them.

If they won't let your daughter start a streaming subscription for the Glass TV and Live camera without cancelling your Sky Q contract then there's not a lot else you can do other than argue that what you were told was wrong and you would like a full refund.

If they refuse, you could try to sell the Glass TV and Live camera, pay off the debt you owe on the finance and your daughter will have to get her fitness on TV elsewhere. Apple Fitness+ is very good on the Apple TV 4K box....

Re: Sky glass 65" tv HDR rubbish

she can use the glass tv with a subscription at the same address

but she would have to get an account in her name with sky

so its two seperate accounts ,but same address

Re: Sky glass 65" tv HDR rubbish

this is what i have been told ..

"Martin
You wouldn't be able to have Sky Q and Sky Glass on the same account so in this part the information you have seen online is correct. The Sky Glass subscriptions would need to be set up on an another account, which I think Stuart was trying to say would need to be in your daughter's name to be able to do so "

At the same address? If that's allowed then that's a bit of a game changer for many people.

Re: Sky glass 65" tv HDR rubbish

is is what he just put ..

"
The number I've found for our sales team is 03442 and I think they are open until 8PM. From what I see on the internal systems here it says we should be able to add the device to an account using an activation code when the account is created, this will be displayed on the Glass TV when it has been reset and the on screen steps are followed. I would recommend contacting the sales team and they will be able to give you a clear answer"

Re: Sky glass 65" tv HDR rubbish

He is basicly saying that she can ring up and add a subscription to another account in her name at the same address .he has also just put this

"I'm sorry if it feels like I was unable to clarify but the information I have found does suggest it should be possible to add the subscriptions to the Glass on another account"

Yeah, call the sales team - they'll confirm what is and isn't allowed, but I'll be very surprised if they allow both a Q account and a Glass account at the one address...

Yes, that's what is described in the https://www.sky.com/help/articles/buying-sky-glass-second-hand I posted above.

Unfortunately this is only relevant to an address without an existing Sky subscription, or with current Sky Glass/Stream and Whole Home.
