Re: Sky change broadband speed requirements.

Without pushing this further off topic, our home is fully embedded in the Apple system.

I do regret the 18 month contract moving back to Q but at the time it was a great deal. The £10 a month increase kicking in now not so much.

Agree its a personal choice.

I am a Sky customer!!!

That aside show me where it says only Sky account holders can post here 🤔. If the forum moderators want to get in touch I'm 100% sure they will.

Don't get personal there's no need an opinion on the product is fine but not personal.

@Anonymous @In your second from last  post you said 'sky have now lost me completely'. In your last post you said 'I am still a sky customer'

Re: Sky change broadband speed requirements.

How is that getting personal. The purpose of the forum is for Sky customers to support other Sky customers

However, Sky have not lost me entirely as I subscribe to NOW which I find works without issue plus its AD free, hurrah no skipping. Yes it's not 4K but the Apple TV upscaling is outstanding.

I gave notice on Q about a week ago as I couldn't agree a price I was happy with and bought discounted NOW Sports & Entertainment passes to test on my Apple TV while I work my notice.

Basically just to see if we could potentially live without a Sky contract (we are an Apple household).

I don't know if it is the upscaling or a side benefit of the streaming infrastructure for Glass and Stream, or possibly both,  but the picture is excellent, better than HD on Q and the 50fps makes Sport really smooth.

@stereohaven

Yes!

I'm not sure what technology is involved in the Apple TV box but how they upscale Now is incredible on many not all programs it looks 4K.

ITVX is another app that has amazing quality.

My5 is the only app still 720p but they replied to me recently by email that full HD is coming to Apple.

Now TV is always seen as the poor relation of Sky which is unfortunate.

Now is owned by Sky so if you have a Now subscription you are a Sky customer

The forum is about supporting customers regardless whever they have left Sky they still have knowledge of the product and offer solutions when needed.

But your posts are far from helpful and don't offer any support whatsoever.

Re: Sky change broadband speed requirements.

Lol. Now is a subsidiary of Sky.  I was aware of that, but thanks for highlighting.  I would also highlight that Now Tv have there own community boards. Some on here seem obsessed with Apple TV
