Sky Stream remote not working after power cut
Last night, there was a power outage in my area; this morning my Sky Stream isn't working. The box prompts me to press 4 and 6 on my remote for 2 seconds to setup the remote, but it then doesn't recognise it. I've tried pressing 7 and 9 to start a resync and have tried taking the batteries out for half an hour or so. Everything was working fine yesterday. Any ideas?
Someone out there suggests leaving the battery out for a day. Might that do it?

Re: Sky Stream remote not working after power cut
@Hants A power outage will not have any effect directly on the remote which is battery powered so presumably it must have lost its pairing with your Glass TV. You mention you have pressed various combinations of buttons without success. This would normally have resolved the issue and repaired the remote but maybe you have not held them down for long enough. You mentioned 2 seconds but the norm is 3-4 seconds.
When I had issues with a remote Glass remote about 18 months ago they asked me to do what they called a hard reset. The process was as follows:
With Glass turned off at the wall:
Hold 4 & 6 for 10 seconds
Hold 7 & 9 for 10 seconds
Turn on TV wait for it to reboot & go to homepage
Hold 1 & 3 until it says it is connected
Good luck.
