Sky Stream- Issues streaming any live sport

Hi,

 

I have sky stream wired to an ethernet connection at 250Mb/s, however, its absolutely unusable for watching football on currently. This wasnt an issue for me before the Euros started, but since it started it freezes for several seconds every minute. There are no issues with other programmes, or apps, it just seems to happen during live sport. 

 

Anyone know why this is happening?

@Chris267 does this issue affect games on both BBC and ITV and are you using the TV chaanels or watching via the iPlayer or ITVx apps? As the games are in HD your ethernet connection should be fine and given the lack of other posts it is axstrange issue.

@Chris267 you specifically mentioned the euros on BBC and ITV channels, which other Sky Sports channels have issues?
