Sky Sports News breaking up on Sky Stream

Anyone else having problems with Sky Sports News on Sky Stream. It keeps breaking up  juddering, even blue screen at one point saying loading. The other channels seem ok. I've tried restarting. It seems like a channel issue.

@Neil+Essex

No need for multiple threads as you have this one on the board associated with your TV platform. The others have been removed to prevent duplication of replies.

Re: Sky Sports News fault

I am  on Sky Stream andexperiencing the same problem with Sky Sorts News on 409. Keeps breaking up and restarting. Strangely, Sky Sports News on Sky Sport+ 410 has none of these problems.

All other available channels and content from Apps are also ok.

Have had same issues frequently in last few weeks. Powering off the puck makes no difference.

Any ideas on where the issues lie?

Sky sports News unwatchable

Hi there, everyone sky sports News keeps pixelating and going off and stuttering. Everything's okay on all the other channels I have a sky glass Gen 2

We need to report this to Kev, the community manager and I'm not sure how. If somebody can forward it to him that'll be great. Thanks

Hi @pete1986andrew  As this is only happening whilst watching one specific channel namely Sky Sport News, it is likely to be a broadcast fault so I would suggest you (and others experiencing the issue) report this to viewer relations team at viewerR@sky.uk giving them as much information as possible. (ie date, time, channel and the specific issue).

There was a similar issue with GB News a few weeks ago which Sky resolved.

Re: Sky Sports News fault

If it's of any use for troubleshooting - Sky Sports News is streaming live perfectly via the NOW app on a couple of different devices I've tried. No stuttering or pixellation, so if it's a broadcast error then it's only on the Sky Stream/Glass output streams, not on the NOW streams.

Re: Sky Sports News fault

Yes, still happening skyglass. 410 is perfect however.

Re: Sky Sports News fault

Same here too.

It started yesterday morning (1st July) and it's the same again today. Picture keeps pixelating. Picture disappears altogether and then reappears. Intermittent loss of sound too. None of the other channels that I have watched seem to have the same issue. Just Sky Sports News.

Powered off and then back on again but it’s still the same.
