What is the better one Sky Q or sky stream?
I have a sky Q at the minute and can record pause etc can you do this with a stream?

It depends. Stream isn't an upgrade to Q it's a different system. You need strong, fast and reliable broadband as it doesn't use the satellite dish. For me it was better because I now have UHD on every TV, which wasn't possible with Q and I used to suffer a lot of disconnections of my Q mini boxes from the main Q box. Not an issue with stream.
Stream allows you to pause, however there is no facility to record locally. Recordings are stored in the cloud where allowed or you are signposted to iPlayer, ITVX etc and you have no control of this.
Also the channel lineup is different to Q. Make sure you do your research.
