Teams would be interesting, but the process to gain Microsoft Certification  for hardware has always been tortuous.

Is Zoom still a thing?

There's a page live at https://www.sky.com/glass/smart-camera

Unfortunately that's currently (13:45 19/06/23) the version which has been there since Glass launched.

If there's a subscription price just for video calling then it will be an absolute failure

I'd agree.  Personally I think more of an issue is that if Glass users can only call other Glass users then it's a pretty limited user base unless we start calling each other to complain Glass isn't working again, but there's a certain logical fallacy to that ; )

But if you're calling people on other devices, why would you use your Glass to do the calling? You'd use a different (almost certainly more reliable) device too?

But then, I don't understand why anyone would want to use this 'feature' anyway, so I'm probably not the best to pass opinions.

Re: Sky Live Glass Camera Launch

absolute joke, the core product is all over the place with people struggling to watch basic TV and they launch another product which is going to further complicate the code (that's already over the place) and stretch support personnel even thinner.

It's going to stretch home users internet connections further by more use of bandwidth (imagine watching a football match in UHD with 3 other households on a video stream) if that works I will eat my hat.

No priorities, no vision.
