Is the Watch Together feature the same as the Watch Party feature that Amazon and Disney+ have?

Pretty much, yes. One person creates a viewing 'room' that others can join by inputting a code generated by whoever sets up the 'room'.
Worth noting that if the group are watching a sporting event together, they can only do so in HD. Currently UHD is not supported for the Watch Together feature...presumably due to the bandwidth necessary to run a 4K stream and multiple smaller video streams simultaneously.

No as you don't need a camera for Watch Party

Had a play this evening. Actually very impressed. Kids find it fun, some good games for them to enjoy.
Only issue is because I have the glass wall mounted it sits too high and even angled down has too much ceiling in the frame. So I've mounted it beneath the TV which seems to work much better.
Anyone sitting on the fence, I'd say go for it, you'll have some fun. Also, the wife loves the fitness app.

UPDATE: so got it working. All I did was to unplug the glass and the sky Live. Then holding the power button on the glass when plugging in then waited then plugged the sky live in then it worked.

It ONLY works with a Glass TV. You've wasted your money.

The unit has to connect to the USB C socket and one of the HDMI inputs on a Sky Glass using a purpose made lead. The pucks lack a USB socket which is presumably used for both data and power while the HDMI is for video and audio.
