Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@G.Confederate is there no room to drop the cable down the back of the set? The unit itself simple sits on top of the TV - there is a magnet that stops it falling off.
The two other ends of the lead simply plug ito one of the downward facing connections on the back of the TV. One attachs to one of the 3 HDMI ports, it doesnt seem to matter which, but if you are in front of the set they are the sockets on the right next to the power lead connector. The other plugs into the USB C socket which is the second one in on the left by the aerial socket. You can attach the little connector box in the lead to the back of the TV with the two self adhesive pads if you want

The Glass business model does not include any notion of 'engineer' visits.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@GordonTGopher can't see why as the USB connector is in the cut out and faces down as @TimmyBGood 'spicture shows its no more difficult than plugging in a HDMI lead. The main issue is getting the cable down behind the set.

Perhaps slightly fiddlier because the socket is smaller and USB-C cable is too thin to use to push the jack into place.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@TimmyBGood the cable is the same thickness on both the HDMI and USB C and of course tge connecter goes in either way round. It was fiddle on my set as its on the table stand as limited access behind so I had to do it blind myself. Actually may be easier wall mounted as you should be able to see the sockets

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYes, I found connecting both cables a bit fiddly, largely done by feel even with the TV pulled out from its normal position. Aesthetically it's a pity the cable from the connector box to the camera can't be routed less visibly, but it's a small point.

Yes, Each household needs Sky Glass, Sky Live and any necessary add-ons (if you want to watch a football match on Sky Sports, each household needs a Sky Sports subscription).
