They actually think people are going to pay cash money for this thing?! I don't think they're in any danger of running low on stock with this one!

Some people probably will, but total sales can only be to a subset of users of a relatively low volume television model.
I've always been somewhat surprised that they didn't see fit to equip the Stream puck with a USB-C port: that would at least have widened the potential market for cameras quite a bit.

It all just seems so 10 years ago...

During which time Microsoft dropped support for Skype on TVs.
I wonder how long Zoom have signed up to Sky Live for?
I just fear that with all the Glass apps already being hosted on a server, the latency is already quite high... everything on this camera is just going to be so sluggish.
I'd love to be proven wrong so hurry up and dazzle us with an epic launch presentation please Sky...

Now that there isn't a convenient global pandemic they can probably use a few straws to grasp ; )

Like many organisations we dropped our commercial Zoom subscription once the final 'missing' features were added to Teams and it no longer made sense to use an additional-cost tool from outside the Microsoft365 tenancy.

zoom is still more accessible and user friendly for friends and family calling though
my better half uses zoom for PTA meetings
personally I'm not sticking the proverbial boot in until I've tried one or seen one in the wild .....

So where is this thing then?
I can find precisely one Tweet about yesterday's launch:
https://twitter.com/kestermann/status/1670700030854942722
Is everything still under NDA? The ISP Review story said it would launch yesterday or today and it's getting pretty late in the day for a product launch.
Is it going to be quietly shuffled out through the back door to save anyone the embarrassment of trying to pronounce the word mvmnt with a straight face? Damn. I wanted confetti and spotlights and Chief Product Officer Fraser Stirling doing a work-out live on stage, then attempting a sweaty zoom call with his Comcast bosses. It would be brilliant!!

NDA's are there for a reason maybe something that doesn't quite fit into your vocabulary you always seem to have a chip on your shoulder with Sky products
So in my opinion if you are in receipt of this sensitive information I very much doubt you would keep it to yourself.
Plus Sky Live isn't going to affect you as you don't have Sky Glass but I see Sky Glass is on offer at the moment maybe for those who haven't got Sky Glass and like the look of Sky Live.

Important for people to note, as the article reiterates, that the reduction in monthly loan repayment does not apply to current customers because they bought their sets at the higher price.

I hardly doubt somebody calling out faults in a product means you have "A Chip on your shoulder".
And I hardly call a "Camera" sensitive information 😂 (removed)

You may have, but don't assume the same for everyone else.
