Sky Glass skipping live programme & recordings

Can anyone help me, I've rang sky about my issue and manually updated the software as suggested by customer service but the problem is not going away.

 

when I watch live tv, the sound & picture are not in sync. The live programme is constantly skipping. 

when I watch a recording from my playlist every thing I watch is skipping also

 

i have fibre broadband connected with an Ethernet cable directly to my router next to my tv. My broadband speeds are excellent.

 

I'm getting really frustrated as I can turn on Netflix etc and have no issues streaming. I'm really regretting switching from sky Q to sky glass

@AM1991  First thing to do is launch the Netflix app scroll down to get help then check your network,this will give you that actual speed your device is getting,following this I would try a reboot of your device and router by powering them off for a few minutes,turn your router back on and when it has fully rebooted with all lights showing power your device (sky puck/glass back on

With reguards to the lip sync issue this has been a problem for a while which sky are aware of,in the meantime a fix for this is to set your sound setting to pcm
