I agree, there are far better TVs then Sky Glass.

For me the real sweet spot is a nice OLED and Sky stream. The picture is fantastic and you have the functionality like air play and better apps that is missing ftp
glass

Am going to wait and am sure the price will go down further

I have not experienced an OLED with stream puck but by all accounts the picture quality cannot be beaten.
I had a lovely LG OLED TV when I lost access to a satelite dish and at that time there was no option to have a stand alone puck so I ended up with Glass. My son got a lovely OLED TV for free 😀.

I have been told the only difference is that on stream you can't download. Apparently there is no difference between the picture on Stream vs Q.

@Super+Anthony @You've been told wrong. The picture on stream is better than sky Q.

@Jason+Golding Thank you for that. Am confused as it will still be 2160 whether on Q or Stream?
Also there 30 second lag is a bit of a pain

The broadcast bit rate levels are higher on stream than Q.
Take a look at a standard definition broadcast on Q than have a look at the same channel on Stream.
Sky stream is approximately 30-45 seconds behind Sky Q in terms of linear live channels being broadcast.
Other advantages of Sky stream is the ability to watch 4k on whole home, Sky Q mini is restricted to HD.
Although you don't physically record on Sky stream, you have a playlist which for me pep rally works better. It enables me to add programmes to the plays list from various apps on stream not just the epg, so everything is one place.
Sky stream also includes HD as standard with no extra charge

You very helpful
i only have one TV though

No worries @Super+Anthony. sky stream is also more energy efficient and naturally you don't need a dish. Please ensure that you have decent broadband speed though and Ethernet connection rather than Wi-Fi is a better option

@Super+Anthony @Lastly there is a deal at the moment for £19 for the basic package that includes Netflix and discovery plus. Speak to sky

Yup. I saw that as get the emails. I think in total it would be £76 if I went for it now. I think it will go down cheaper

Finally someone has described what I was trying to find. I am a Q customer & I have everything and my TV decided to go on strike. I have been looking at Glass & trying to see if it is on the same level as Sky Q. Your description has answered my questions.
simple answers are hard to find, most of the replies are either extreme or just normal people bashing out.
Thanks, so it is decided, a new to will be in my future and sticking to Q
👍
