Don't forget that the people that tend to critique in life, are the dissatisfied ones. The vast majority of sky stream customers are extremely happy. Yes there were some early bugs, the majority are now ironed out in my opinion. The picture and sound that stream produces is the best I have ever seen.
Sky stream is the best tv system I have ever had.
The playlist is fantastic and the ability to watch 4k on a second screen. I love it.

Thanks @Jason+Golding I received a good offer today as I haver signed up to emails with offers etc. Today, it amounted to £74 that included HDR / Sports / TNT / Cinema on the 18 month offer. I am caught in 2 minds as a better offer may come out, and or Black Friday in November might be better

@Super+Anthony @Is the offer the £19 offer for the base pack on Sky stream ?

Yes it is. I spoke to Sky and they suggested maybe waiting but it is a good offer

@Super+Anthony @It's a fantastic offer, you think about the value you are getting. I would go for it personally. Sky stream is great

Many thanks for all the replies and opinions. I have decided to keep Sky Q for the time being and signed up to another 18 month contract today, albeit with a more basic / less expensive package. Almost certainly I'll move over to a streaming package at some point once a few more of the bugs have been ironed out.

Usual reminder that the point many of us try to make is not that higher spec/better TVs exist, because everyone knows they do, rather that similar spec TVs exist and are substantially cheaper, even with the additional purchase of a soundbar.
If you want the dishless experience, UHD content and can live without recording, buy Sky Stream and literally any 4K QLED TV to get a better, more flexible experience and save money.

@Jason+Golding Thanks. Don't you think there will be better offers, especially with Black Friday? I know what you saying though

@Super+Anthony @That's impossible to say, all I can say is I think you have a great deal there. Don't forget you can get cash back through Quidco and Topcashback if you are a new customer on Sky stream which is currently £71.50

I am not a new customer but thank you. I will think over the weekend, but it's certainly a good offer

@Super+Anthony @Well done on getting that offer, many customers will be envious

It's open to everyone if they fill out the form? It was £74 earlier, but now £76?
IT's a very good offer

@Super+Anthony @May I ask want form you are referring to please and where it can be found ? This may help other customers. Thank you

If one goes onto the official Sky stream price, it should come up with a pop up asking you to sign up for further offers that come out

The point I was making (in the rest of the post) was that there are better specced tvs but the all in one package of sound and less cluster makes it a good option
