It's not possible to add or remove apps.  Glass/Stream is not an open system and doesn't have an app store or other optional expansion: this is one of several ways in which Glass is not a 'normal' smart television.

 

To refresh those apps which Sky permits on the platform, go to Settings > System Management > Resets & Updates > Refresh apps.

@DarrenC Further to the post from @TimmyBGood you could add a 3rd party device to your Glass TV Firestick, Apple TV etc).  I no longer have Glass but when I did I had an Apple TV connected to it.  You could download any apps you wanted to that device and watch them through the Glass TV.
