It's a shame. I can live with 60fps but the stutter makes playing FPS awful. Didn't have the Gen1 but I'm loving the Gen2 on the whole as a TV.

@JohnFourty @ Did you see the workaround? Not ideal but let's you game normally
Get the game on you want to play, then switch the TV plug off & back on, once it reboots go straight to the game on the sky menu & it'll run at 60 for you until you turn over or go to the Xbox dashboard as that sends it back to 55. It's a software bug, & fixable, no idea why it's taking so long.
Biggest issue is before they added ALLM, it worked fine without it, but now worry it off it's absolutely horrific & simply a no go.

I can confirm that the workaround, unplugging the TV after loading the game and plugging back in, does work.
Reported to Sky and made them aware that it is affecting Gen2 as well. They know about the issue and told me about the workaround that is in this post.

@JohnFourty thanks for ringing, the more the merrier. Crazy they tell you the workaround as a fix right lol, a workaround I discovered & this community worked out why & what was happening. It was implemented I think in June last year & is still happening.
The company who make the TVs are in Holland & they've been aware since at least October. Just disappointing tbh

Update. If you use the workaround to resolve the 5 sec frame skip, it is possible on the Gen 2 to play competitive games 😁
