So is anyone else frustrated with the unconscious service with Sky Glass. I love the concept but it's driving me mad. If it's not the picture constantly freezing it's not being able to access the playlist of things you have tagged to view. Dispite turning off, unplugging, resetting, testing broadband nothing seems to work. The help advises you that it's not there fault it's the channel or app that is at fault but can three or four channels all be having technical issues at the same time. I think not. Seriously thinking about leaving or reverting back to Sky Q at least I knew it worked!

Is the Glass connected via Wifi as the symptoms you are describing all fit into the category of WiFi signal stability issues?

That may be the case but the Sky streaming platform requires a strong and consistant WIFI connection to operate as expected. This is due to it constantly requiring access to Sky's servers, unlike most internet enabled devices that don't need to be constantly connected to the internet and can deal with changes in network strength or brief network dropouts.
Ultimately the only way to test if this is th ecase is to disable the WIFI in the Glass settings and to connect the Glass via an ethernet cable, either directly to the router or to a powerline adapter. If this solves the issue and gets rid of the freezing issue you know that the cause of the problem is the WiFi network.

mines terrible now. the pictures and colours in the menus are always blocky and hazey, the menu itself freezes up 4 or 5 times a day, the voice control is broke half the time and the apps also lock upba lot when scrolling through them (netflix and prime eapecially).
sky glass could be great , but it isn't a patch on the speed and reliability of the actual boxes (not Q though) Q was just as bad.
