@K3rryB  How do you have it connected to the internet?

Also it's worth opening the Netflix app going to get help and then check your network to run a speed test. This will tell you the download speed the TV is getting. Your symptoms do sound like the issue is the TV not being able to get a good enough download speed.

@K3rryB  If it is a sound what I can only describe as being like a machine gun then I had the same thing along  with frozen pixeleted screen about 18 months ago.  I simply unplugged the Glass TV off at the plug socket for a few minutes and then powered it on again and it cleared the issue.  In my case it never came back which was a result but if it keeps happening then I suggest you call Sky Customer Services as you could have a faulty TV which might need replacing under warranty.

Good luck.

Re: Sky Glass TV crashing and making a funny noise

Thank you! The TV is connected via WiFi - I will do that and see what it does.

the noice it was making didn't sound to good though , which made me believe it was the TV and not connection .

Thank you for your response and advise 😊

Something you may want to try if you are currently using Wifi. Is to connect the TV via an ethernet cable, then go into the Network Settings on the TV and disable the Wifi. I'd also recommened rebooting the TV ( turn if off at the plug for a minute) after doing this to ensure it has disabled the Wifi. This will be a test to see if the issue is actually around the strength and stability of your Wifi Network.

Re: Sky Glass TV crashing and making a funny noise

We've had our Sky Glass tv for a couple of years now and this crash experience has happened every few weeks since we've had it.
I don't believe Sky will do anything about it though as we all know how poor their customer service is.

Pulling the plug seems the best temporary reset.
