There are technical issues with some sky glassTV and puck devices but when you try to get help from my sky you are told the discussion has been blocked. WHY, WHAT HAS SKY GOT TO HIDE!

I wasn't asking for more information, as my message clearly stated. I was pointing out the unhelpfulness of rude, abrasive messages. Like your last reply to me.

I just tried calling before I found this thread. The message now says their phone lines are closed for staff training and to try calling back later!

I say this with respect and politeness, but a super user are you not able to provide better advice than simply tonsiwtch it off and on.
Btw, I have the same with two picks. Both keep rebooting. I've tried the long press and a software update and nothing works. Resorting to insurance, but clearly this is a firmware issue

As with everybody else the fault is affecting us as well. Some of the superusers are spending their own time merging the threads together so they are all in one place while others are trying to inform users that it's a known issue and not to call sky (no point) and not to reset their equipment or change batteries etc. nothing rude in that

We also can't tell you about compensation or the level of it, it will be up to Sky to decide.
There is no automatic compensation for TV outages.

Same issue - based in SW London. Just flashes white, tried reset nothing. Switched to lining tv to my iPlayer .... and will be phoning sky tomorrow to cancel my £1300 pa service.

Thought my fuse was blown as I've been having the same issues but if that was the case wouldn't show up on the screen. Done the plug test and works fine.
also rest it and it updated fine. Said restart and now black. Left for 5mins and used the power button on remote and not turning on
