Sky Glass Gen 2 TV - Backlight reverting back to auto

Just got the 43" Gen 2 and have been trying to adjust picture to be acceptable.   I found it to be very washed out on certain programs.  Anyway I've configured the picture to match those listed in a post on this forum and it appears much better.

the one problem I have is that trying to turn backlighting OFF just give a black/blank screen - and it stays ON when I return to the menu.

Latest firmware as it updated on set up.

@GraemeM It may or may not work. As I say, it seems to be an intermittent fault now. Still not great but better than two months ago.

This is definitely a weird one. When I first switch on the picture is dull ie backlight is on. Go into settings to switch the backlight off and although it doesn't show that it's off the screen brightens beautifully
