Auto backlight adjustment won’t switch off

I had this issue with the Sky Glass gen 2.

Only way to fix it was to do a system reset and turn off the auto backlight setting as soon as you could get into the settings.

I've just turned the Auto backlight adjustment On and then Off again without any of the earlier problems I had.

@Rich10003 Can you go into Settings, System Management and in System Info see if the build version is the same as the one I mentioned above please?

@Rich10003 If it is the same as the one I've given them you will need to ring Sky and log it with them. If it isn't then you may just have to wait for the update. They are normally done in batches over a period of time.

@Rich10003 I did until this update. Afraid you may need to get Sky's input. It is probably a firmware issue and not a hardware one but Sky Tech Support will guide you on whether you need to wait it out or have a replacement.

Edit: I have just been into my Settings switched it On, then back Off again, which took my straight back to live TV. I went back into Settings and it was still On, so I did a Restart via System Management (not factory reset) and when it came back on I was able to turn it Off again. Maybe try that if it's an intermittent fault, which it may be now I've just had it happen again for a minute.
