Since I have started my new contract all of my existing sky services are no longer available ie recordings and apps
i specifically asked for this not to be changed

Did you switch from Sky Q to Sky Glass/Stream? If so then your Q contract has been cancelled and your Q box must be returned to Sky. All your recordings will be lost. (You can stream Sky Store purchases on Glass or Stream).
