So I'm probably leaving Sky as the renewal price + rises in April will be too expensive and my partner has the Virgin broadband and landline account at our place, (there is no BT supplied fibre in our area nor is there going to be according to the Openreach website), and we've added TV to the package as it's around £20 cheaper than my Sky price.
My query is that when my Glass TV service is cancelled, does that mean everything, or are certain parts kept running? Sounds an odd question but I currently have UDH & Atmos, Sky Live, payments running until 2027, and the Glass payments will still be running until October. If the TV service is cancelled, will they want me to pay off what's still owing or can I carry on with those monthly payments?
I'm planning to carry on using the Glass with the Virgin TV box connected to it.
Cheers

The cost of the streaming service and the cost of the loan taken out to pay for the TV itself are entirely separate.
If you cancel the streaming service then you must carry on paying the remainder of your loan agreement. Without the streaming service, the Glass TV will still give you access to the on-board apps if you wish to use them but you won't have access to Sky's live channel streams or on demand content any more. You can attach your Virgin TV box to one of the HDMI ports and continue to use it, similar to how you would a normal smart TV.

Re: Services query
Do you happen to know if I will still have UHD and Atmos? It is an extra, paid for part of the TV package. Hope so as I would miss the nice sound and picture.

Re: Services query
That package is for Sky content. If you watch that content on other HDMI sources or non-Sky apps you're good.

If you feed the TV a UHD or Atmos source via HDMI, be it from a Virgin TV box, a 4K BluRay Player, a Firestick, an Apple TV 4K box or whatever, it will continue to show it in UHD and provide Atmos from the built in sound bar without the UHD/Atmos pack.
The UHD/Atmos pack is only relevant to streamed content from a Sky source such as Sky Cinema, Sky Sports or from a show such as White Lotus on demand from Sky Atlantic.
