The current version information can be found on the link below. Sky typically never announce what's included unless it's new features.

If you are unhappy about Sky not informing you then you could complain.

It's nice to know but I wouldn't worry about it as it will roll out when they are ready and there is absolutely nothing us paying customers can do about it. Stability that's what matters. 😉

I'm surprised Sky isn't listed as an example under shambles in the dictionary yet

Woah oh the Hokey Cokey,
Woah oh the Hokey Cokey,
You put the software in,
You take the software out,
Thats what it's all about!

Shambles would be rolling out a software update to your whole user base when you've found it to introduce significant bugs, or for a company with the userbase the size of Sky rolling out an update to its entire userbase in one go.
They are doing what is pretty standard software development nowadays, and what Sky have been doing for a quarter of a century, rolling out updates to a part of the userbase and if it's okay rolling out to everyone, and if not rolling back until it's fixed. No matter how much testing you do, once the software hits the real world (especially with all the different internet connectivity and routers etc in use) it's inevitable some bugs will become apparent.
Sky Glass/Stream has had more than it's fair share of issues in the past, but IME is in its best place since launch with few big bugs remaining - and those left often reliant on third parties to fix. (Rights issues meaning recordings don't appear, not being able to add ITVX BritBox / Discovery+ content to Playlist, not being able to remove from the playlist) - what we don't want are issues to return or show stoppers added!

I liken Sky Glass and Stream to Cat C abbatoir waste, both are just not fit for human consumption.

Not sure why anyone is suprised it's happend many times since the launch of glass, mediocre software at it's finest.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe Glass TV is still on 1.1 and 014 here, but I may be on a different release schedule. The pucks rarely get switched on.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreMy puck rolled back Friday night and since then I'm having nothing but sound drops outs,it's definitely something to do with the roll back as this never happened before and the puck and glass that never updated to q14 remain unaffected

Ah the joys of not being updated 😊

I said a few days ago on here I thought this is what had happened. People complaining but let's be honest, would rather stick around on a stable release for a few extra weeks than get something full of bugs.
