I've found the JustWatch website and app to be extremely useful in suggesting shows and movies, and it tells you which streaming service content is available on.
You can tell it what type of things you like to watch and it'll suggest some options. You can also tell it which services you subscribe to so it will only show you films and shows that you can access as part of your current subscription.
It's very useful for browsing before searching directly via voice control on your Glass TV.

Re: Searching for films
For a known title, Voice Search is the simplest method. Note however this may return results which require an additional subscription to actually view the item itself.
Unfortunately with each platform release Sky has made it progressively harder to see a straightforward comprehensive content listing.

Re: Searching for films
Three methods to search for a specific film you have in mind:
- Press the microphone button on your remote control and say the name of the film or TV show. if you haven't disabled it, your TV will respond to 'hello Sky, search for (name of TV show or film).
- At the bottom of the Home Screen, there is a search box. Click on that and type the name of the film or TV show.
- When on the Home Screen, press the three dots '...' button and type the name of the film or TV show.
To look through what is available, the super sections row on the Sky Glass Home Screen show have TV Shows and Movies sections (after Playlist). If there is anything you want to save for later, highlight it and click the + button on your remote control. This will add it to your playlists for later.
There are also some useful 'how to'/'getting to know' SKy Glass & Sky Stream videos - go all the way down to the bottom of the Home Screen and click the Help button. The videos should be in there, showing how to search, use the super sections, add to playlists and watch TV shows and films from your playlists.

Re: Searching for films
As above, plenty of ways to search
Using voice on Sky Glass and Sky Stream is very useful and works very well.
Search for genres saying;
'Western films', 'sci-fi films', 'family films', 'classic films' and the like.
Search for actors or directors saying;
'Charlton Heston', 'Raquel Welsh', 'Ridley Scott', 'Steven Spielberg'
