I am moving house and need to transport my sky glass tv safely. What is the best way to move it. ?

For a DIY move I think I'd remove it from the stand, wrap it very well and be really careful about putting pressure on the screen.

I moved recently and had the same worry with my TV! I wrapped mine in a thick blanket, then used bubble wrap around the corners for extra protection. If you still have the original box with the foam inserts, that’s the safest bet. Just make sure it’s standing upright in the van, not laying flat, and try to secure it against a wall so it won’t shift. And keep it away from heavier stuff that might bump into it during the move.

I'm going to be moving next weekend and asked the removals about their insurance policy as I was concerned about my 9 month old TV (the screens are soooo thin). I was assured they were fully insured but was asked to just show the removal team when they arrive that the TV is actually working. I will leave the packing entirely up to them so they can't blame me if anything untoward happens.
