for the playlist functionality to work Sky have to closely work with the apps and create specific versions for their OS which is the reason apps are more limited on Sky glass/stream and why some functionality is ssifferemt when compared to the standard Android, OS or web based versions of the apps.

We only got Sky Stream at the beginning of October this year (1 month ago) and used the "watch from start" feature almost every day, until around a week ago we are suddenly not being given this option? It seems sporadic with many channels but specifically STV is never giving us this option and this is the channel we most frequently watch. What are we actually paying for that is any different from standard Freeview if we cannot record and nor can we rewind and watch from the beginning? It means we have no choice but to watch on catch up which can be hours later, when we've potentially only missed the first 5/10 mins of a programme? I could do this with Freeview so what is the point of paying for Sky Stream? Not seeing any benefits.

Sky Stream is still quite big-ridden.
Have you done a reboot? Turn it off at the wall for a minute then power back on. That often (temporarily) fixes many of the glitches.

We have the exact same issue with STV / ITV. Do not have the option now to watch from Start. Only happened last week and has not changed! Never an issue before.

Ah! Interesting! We just switched from Sky Q to Sky Stream last weekend so have no experience of it working on Sky Stream.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf it's just happened recently and it used to be fine and rebooting the stream puck or refreshing apps would make me think it's a bug in the latest version of the STV player app on Sky.
im sure they will fix it eventually but it may be a while.

I'm having the same issue, can watch from start on every other channel except from STV on occasion. It's just one of the issues I'm having with Sky Glass at the moment 🙁

STV 'watch from start' seems to be working for me now (since late on Tuesday evening). 👍
Still not finding some programmes or episodes in playlist though (STV and BBC news and current affairs mainly). 🤷

🤔Maybe not completely fixed?. Watch from start did not work for 'News at Ten' tonight, and then couldn't find it on STV Player after it was finished 🤷
