Reset of Sky Glass Gen 1
If I sell my Sky Glass Gen 1 and reset it will my Sky Glass Gen 2 still keep its details?

Yes. Whomever you sell it to will activate it and you'll get an email confirming the cancellation of the TV on your account.
You will still need to pay the CCA on the first gen TV though (if applicable).

I believe it might be wise to set the Gen 2 to be the primary device in the account before doing so.
