I rented a movie on my Apple account on my iPad to watch later on my sky Glass tv which has the same Apple account but I can't find it. There is no library tab. Sky glass has no facilities fo screen mirroring or air play, so I can't watch it that way either. Is there a reason why I cannot find it? I have sign out a signed back in. Switched on and off and still no joy. Can any one help?Other wise will have wasted the rental money and perhaps should have been made aware of the issue

Yes, as @Exiled-in-HH points out - there is a subtle difference between the Apple TV+ app and the Apple TV app (without the +).
The Apple TV+ app, which is the version available on Sky Glass & Sky Stream, only permits access to the Apple TV+ streaming service, not to any movies you may have purchased on your Apple account.
The Apple TV app (without the +) is more fully featured, and offers access to the Apple TV+ service as well as your iTunes Movie Library and rentals. This version of the app is available on some brands & models of smart TV such as Samsung and LG, and also on various streaming devices such as the Amazon Firestick, Roku Streaming Stick and (obviously) the Apple TV 4K box, which also offers frame rate matching and higher bit-rates on Apple TV+ content, as well as iTunes Extras on movie purchases.
Part of the reason Sky and some other services don't put the more fully featured Apple TV app on their devices is because they'd rather you buy and rent movies from Sky Store which offers the same content for purchase and rental (usually at the same price but sped up and in poorer quality.)

The Apple TV+ app doesn't support Apple Store rentals. The Apple TV+ app only supports Apple's subscription TV service😉
Sky Glass TV's don't support the Apple TV app that does support Apple Store rentals🤔
