Remote keeps unpairing..

Hello.

Had my small Sky Glass for 12 months and recently my white remote has decided to keep unpairing randomly.

The only way to make it work again is to turn the TV on and off at the wall.

Batteries are fine. Tried looking on the on screen menus and it advised pressing 4 and 6 but to be fair it had already paired at that point via the switch off.

Why is this happening and how can I stop it please?

In the meantime I've submitted a replacement remote request as I believe it's still under warranty.

So just me then..

I have acquired and replaced the remote.

Let's see if the problem is solved or persists..

@Anonymous I see you have received a replacement remote so hopefully that one will work properly.

You may be able to get the old one working again (so you will have a spare) by holding it at both ends and gently twisting it as though you were wringing out a cloth.  It sounds unlikely but it has resurrected mine on 2 occasions when it stopped working.

Another option might be to do a hard reset as follows

With Glass turned off at the wall:

Hold 4 & 6 for 10 seconds

Hold 7 & 9 for 10 seconds

Turn on TV wait for it to reboot & go to homepage

Hold 1 & 3 until it says it is connected
