Received a new remote for skyglass and still not working

Received a new remote today for skyglass pressed 1 and 3 and no response

@richman1234  It is possible that that when you pulled the paper tag from the battery compartment that some of it broke off and is still preventing the batteries from making contact.  Just to make sure this is not the case remove the back of the remote and take the batteries out to check.

 

Removing the back of the remote can be a problem the first few times as it it very stiff.  A number of people have found that wearing rubber kitchen gloves helps to give more purchase on the plastic components.
