Really need some help

Hi I need some help as I've had to flee home with my twins and move back to parents house, due to a few bad things with ex partner and I've brought all my stuff with me my sky glass and broadband etc as I'm in a 24 month contract with them and my parents are happy to change from BT to sky broadband but I need them not to change my parents home phone number as it is my dads business number and has been for years I've tried contacting open reach and sky etc but just don't know what to do as you don't get much help or can't get through to them, it is a nightmare my life has completely changed and all this stress is making me have multiple seizures as im epileptic. Sorry for all the info to everyone but just need some help from somewhere.. thank you very much in advance to everyone. X

@Corinne321 just my opinion, but if it's critical that your dad keeps his number, I'd be very cautious about switching to Sky Broadband/Talk. While you can normally keep the number, it's not guaranteed.  See the FAQ here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/switching-broadband-provider-switch-to-sky

The alternative is to cancel your Sky broadband/landline package. at the risk of paying an early termination charge (roughly equal to the payments you would otherwise make over the rest of your 24 months minimum term). If you explain the circumstances to Sky, they might waive the fee.

Note also that switching the landline to Sky means you'll very likely move to internet calls. If your dad already has BT's 'digital voice' calls he'll already be used to it.
