I want to provide a little positivity here regarding my delivery of a new Glass TV.
As an existing customer of 23+ years who bought outright my 55 inch Anthracite Glass TV week 1 of launch I decided I wanted to replace it with a 65 inch set in green. Apart from a few Netflix errors over year ago my existing set worked fine for me since. So I telephoned Sky on Tuesday, arranged and completed the purchase of a 65 inch TV in green with a very helpful Agent for delivery and assembly today.
I received a clear timeframe window for the delivery. The delivery team arrived at the start of delivery window, brought in the Glass, Stand and Fascia; assembled them and departed within 20 minutes taking away all packaging leaving my room clean as it was before they arrived.
When they had gone, I connected my Internet (SKY Broadband) without issue and the New TV recognised me immediately activating the set to my account. I have watched TV all evening and both picture and sound are fine for me
I was able to login to MySky, change the new set to my primary one and following a short call with Customer Services remove the 'Whole Home' product from my account having Factory Reset the old one which I'm giving away.
So all in all a very positive experience.

@JulieinScotland out of interest, as I know this was a topic of conversation when glass first came out, did you trade in the old set for the new 65inchh?

I also agree with the comment. I got a new 65 inch some months ago and have had no problems whatsoever with it. I got best hd leads I needed and have connected an Apple TV, Nvidia shield and also a fire cube and can alternate no problem with any of said boxes. Might not be as good as tvs same price but does my wife and I so can't complain. I am connected via Ethernet to router and very pleased with it plus have 2 pucks upstairs in either bedroom which work great too.
