Poor menus on Sky glass
Why have Sky produced such a poor menus for Sky glass/stream.
I am not old but the company have totally ignored the 70 plus generation who want a simple menu to access the programme they want. Why move away from the Sky W me
which was simple?
Sky should provide on set up different menu options so those who want a familiar menu to those of no subscription tv can opt for.
Don't ignore the older generation Sky! Do something about it!

Re: Poor menus on Sky glass
This is progress. Sky Q had a different menu from Sky+ and Entertainment OS is their latest Interface on their latest product. Trying to implement legacy interfaces costs money, and causes issues with maintenance given they use completely different technology and based on different sets of standards.
Not to mention that this is a Comcast product (sky's parent company) and is sold all around the world.
Glass and Stream is geared up for using voice commands, which is faster once you get used to it. Videos here may help: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-stream-faqs and also see: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/voice-control-sky-glass

Re: Poor menus on Sky glass
@PROBLEM+WITH+SKY I am in my mid 70s and although I agree that it could be improved I am now so used to the menu system I would not actually like them to change it as I would then have to learn a new system.
It is never likely to happen but I would like to be able to edit the rails on the home screen. If this was possible I would remove most of them. The one thing they really do need to include is a delete option to remove unwanted programmes from the continue watching rail which is right at the top of my wish list.

Re: Poor menus on Sky glass
I really like the stream menu, it's bold and fresh and once you get used to it mostly logical
it could do with a little re jig though ...... the playlist should be more prominent and the settings more accessible
and I'm not convinced about the new "infinite" rails below the settings rail. I've only ventured down there once or twice and very quickly became overwhelmed/ disinterested with it .
43inch Gen 1 and 55 inch Gen 2 Sky Glass & sky live camera 3 Pucks. Virgin media M500 on hub 5x. Four sky mobile sims.
