This is driving me mad so I hope someone has a solution. I'm finding that quite often when I add something to my playlist from a channel I subscribe to, when I go back to watch it it's only available from a channel I don't subscribe to and so I can't access it.
Please tell me there's a way round this, seriously considering getting rid of the whole thing if I can't.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Clubman80 There is nothing wrong with what you are experiencing it's how the system is setup
there are two sets of rights for streaming platforms "as live " and "on demand" (via playlist)
most linear channels only buy as live rights meaning when you come to watch via playlist it will direct you to the service that has on demand rights which will require a subscription to watch
so you either need to watch live or risk having to pay extra to watch at a later date

Thanks for this, sadly I'd guessed as much but I'd hoped I was wrong. I must say, I think this is poor from Sky given how much we pay for the service.
Thanks again.

@Clubman80 Which subscription channels can't you access on-demand for?

Quite a few, we didn't bother getting the movie channels for example. And the latest film I added to my playlist was on the comedy channel, but when I went to put it on today it took me to Paramount+ which we also don't have.

Do you mean Sky Comedy?
Movies on that channel are likely to have live view only rights .... the same goes for Sky Showcase🤔

I don't think it was Sky Comedy, possibly Comedy Central. But I've saved stuff from Sky Comedy before and been able to access it later no problem.

Same goes for Comedy Central any movies would likely have live view only rights🤔
Programmes rather than movies are likely to have full rights on Sky Comedy ,,, check the Sky Comedy on-demand library to see which programmes have on-demand rights😉
Which other subscriptions channels do you have issues with and give examples?
