Paramount+ cancellation Sky Glass

Hi All. 

Signed up for Sky Cinema in November. Free Paramount+ added. Now we're cancelling Cinema, and I want to cancel Paramount+. Do I wait for Cinema to cancel off the account, then cancel Paramount+? Or can I do it now. I've gone through to My App Subscriptions etc but I can't find a cancellation option. Don't want to get charged for it. We never watched it either!

You don't need to do anything. When your Sky Cinema subscription ends so will paramount plus. See: https://support.paramountplus.com/s/article/PI-Accessing-Paramount-after-cancelling-your-Sky-Cinema-...

 

"If you signed up for Paramount+ through your Sky device, using your Sky Cinema subscription but then choose to cancel your Sky Cinema subscription, you don't need to do anything to cancel Paramount+."

The reason I asked was because the guy who I spoke to on the phone said "have you got the Paramount app?" Then said that I could go in to the app and cancel it. So I'm confused 🤔

When I click on the above link - it states that the method is for Sky+ customers in the UK.

Will the same apply to Sky Glass users in Ireland? 🤘

The first part I highlighted in my post is for all Sky customers and it refers to Sky+ further down. You didn't mention in your post you were in ROI! 

 

Here we have a free (£0) subscription in the Sky marketplace, in theory you can go in there can cancel it, but if you cancel cinema it automatically cancels. I would imagine it's the same but not completely sure.

Thanks again @mikealanr 😊

 

I tried that all earlier. Went down to the Paramount+ App Sub.

There's no option for me to cancel the sub. 

Or even a 'Manage Subscription' option.

Nothing.

So I might just see what happens when Cinema comes off the account, and I'll make 100% sure it's gone.
