Although PIN set to off for all, sky movies for 12 ratings asking for it during the day. Now tv never asked for it when pin settings were off, so cannot be a watershed things?

Yes it can, and is.  Broadcast television (and weirdly Glass/Stream counts as 'broadcast') falls under the requirements of Mandatory Daytime Protection, and that's triggered at 12 certificate.

Sky Glass 55" (on ethernet) & two Stream Pucks (one ethernet / one WiFi)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
