Only 1 HDMI port working

Hi,

I have a SKY Glass TV and recently put an Amazon Firestick in one of the HDMI ports.

Now as a result I cannot view all my SKY package (channels, recordings, etc) even though I have attached the cable from my SKY box to another port?

I also have a SKY mini box in my bedroom which works as before allowing me access to everthing (aside from the Firestick of course).

Any help would be appreciated!

If you  have sky glass  tv and an subscription on why do you  have a sky mini  box as well  as you can't  have  both subscriptions at the same address  and sky ask for all sky q boxes to be returned  as they are only rented  to you, how long have you  had the tv ?if less than two years  you may be able  to  get  a replacement, if old then probably  not unless you  have  it insured

If you ve bought a sky glass your sky q subscription would have ended the second you activated your glass unit .....

you can't have both systems the same time

Do you mean you have a Sky Glass TV and a Sky Stream puck?

What happens on the Glass TV when you connect the Firestick? Have you selected the appropriate HDMI input that it is connected to? Is the Firestick powered? It needs to be connected to mains power as well as to the Glass TV's HDMI socket.

If you have the Firestick connected correctly and can see the FireTV home screen then to go back to your Sky Glass home page you need to press the home button on the Sky Glass remote, not the Firestick remote.

Sorry for the confusion!

So I had SKY Q then purchased a SKY Glass TV but still wanted to watch all the channels via the Q and Mini box so cancelled my SKY Glass subscription keeping the TV and using the boxes again.

I can still watch all channels, recordings, etc via my Mini box.

And until I put my Amazon Firestick into the SKY Glass TV I could still do the same there.

However now the Firestick is in one of the HDMI ports none of the other ports work when I try to attach my SKY Q cable in - nothing shows.

Are you selecting the appropriate HDMI input that you have the Q box connected to? It should be on the apps and inputs rail on the Sky Glass home screen. Use the Glass TV remote to select the appropriate input.

Re: Only 1 HDMI port working

Is CEC turned on or off on all devices?

Does the Fire device work on all the HDMI ports?
