On sky glass adding a movie to the playlist to watch later, it will only do half of the movie especially if it has a news break in the middle, I've tried to add the second half but it will remove the first set up . Very frustrating any suggestions. Thanks

@Lee691This is a known problem when there is a news (or other) break in the middle of the movie and it is shown in 2 parts. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about other than to watch it live. If you search the forum you will find numerous post on the subject.

You could make a complaint to http://www.sky.com/help/complaints in the hope they will resolve the issue but don't hold your breath.

Fundementally its the way the Glass/Stream playlist functionality works. It expects a movie to be broadcast as a movie, and not in 2 parts or essentially in 2 episodes as some of these channels seem to broadcast it as.

Most of the films broadcast are usually available on the on-demand apps anyway, so you shouldn't need to have to playlist them to watch the majority of them (obviously this depends on broadcasting and on-demand rights).

This has been the case for the two and a bit years that Sky Glass has been around. It's unlikely to change.
The only way around it is to get a Freeview HD recorder such as a Humax Aura or Manhattan T4-R and attach it to one of the HDMI ports on Glass. You can then record such movies onto a hard drive and play both parts back at your convenience, along with the ability to fast forward easily through ad breaks. This does of course require you to have some form of TV aerial attached, which may not be to your liking.
