On demand movies freeze and make a loud stutter noise

When watching a film last night twice the TV froze and a loud stutter noise was made then after 2 mins the TV restarted. We started the movie again and it worked again for 10 min then did it again.

@Welshy1  You possibly have a situation similar to one I experienced once with my Sky Glass.  The picture froze with a pixelated image and the sound stuck with what I can best describe as a machine gun sound.

I unplugged my Glass for about a minute and then reconnected it but this didn't work so I unplugged it for a further 10 minutes and this cleared the issue which never happened again.

If that doesn't help I would contact Sky for some additional troubleshooting.
