Hi,
I recently moved house and got sky via the stream pucks along with sky giga broadband.
I bought anbrand new oled LG tv and upon testing it, i noticed that close ups of people are fine but when the camera pans away at a distance the picture of peoples faces for instance doesnt look sharpe/clear, a little distored.
i thought it was happening on just bbc one but seems to be happening on all channels.
i tested netflix which works perfect so it seems to be any channel being sent to the tv via sky. Any ideas on how to fix the issue?
the hdmi cables im using are very good quality.
just for comparison i hooked up a LG led tv i bought last yrs with a seprate puck and lower grade hdmi in another room and that seems to work ok from what i could see.
any help would be appreciated

Try each puck with the 'good' TV, if they are both the same it is most likely a TV issue.
If they are noticeably different check that the settings are the same on each puck, check that the software etc is the same. If there is still an issue, ask for a replacement for the 'duff' puck.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreWhich standard viewing mode are you using on the TV @Adz786?
When you launch Netflix it will likely trigger a 4K UHD or Dolby Vision preset viewing mode on the LG TV, but standard HD viewing is likely just using a basic setting on the TV or may it may be on something horrible like "Vivid" or "Eco".
Which make of LG did you get?
