OLD router with Sky glass tv?

our main Router is over 8yrs old we Purchased Sky Glass off u the Engineer was amazing was told you really need a new Router We bought sky Glass tv off u its a lot of money surely we shld have had a new Router 2 match ty ?

No, thats not true,  your router would not be changed simply because you get Sky Glass.

All remaining Q Hubs (released in 2016) are due to be swapped out whether or not the household has Sky Glass.
