Not playing anything, just stays on 'loading'

As it says above 

 

Whenever I press play on anything, either on  Sky tv or any of the apps, nothing plays at all. Just says/is 'loading'.

My apps are all updated, and all software is up to date too. 

 

I've tried rebooting and restarting, to no avail. 

 

Any ideas?

If you are connected via WiFi I'd recommended seeing if things improve by connecting via an Ethernet cable instead. Also ensure you disable the WiFi in the settings otherwise it will be prone to switching between Ethernet and WiFi.
