No subtitles

Can anyone help please.  Had puck delivered today but cannot get subtitles.  Have tried everything we were told to do, switching on/off etc but still nothing.  Any help would be greatly appreciated...

@LuckyLadyJess depends on what you were watching but subtitles on most channels can be cturned on via the ... button on t hecremote. However in apps each havectheir own controls. Some UHD content still lack subtitles.

@LuckyLadyJess If you want subtitles to show whenever they are available make sure you have subtitles turned on in your settings settings. (Settings > Accessibility > Subtitles).

 

If you want them to show only for the current programme you are watching this can be done on the remote by selecting the button with three white dots and then selecting subtitles from the menu provided of course the programme has subtitles.

 

I don't use subtitles but by all accounts they can be problematic.  If you go to the search bar at the top of this page and type in subtitles it will show you various other related threads on the forum.
